My daily work in the development lab is very varied and interesting, because of our numerous products, state-of-the-art laboratory, and spacious workplaces. I find ARDEX’ commitment to health management particularly good, like training courses to prevent back problems, or stress prevention. At ARDEX, sustainable development not only gives us long-term employment, company growth and environmental protection, it also includes the promotion of our employees’ health and wellbeing.
ARDEX is a successful, multicultural global player that has a lot to offer, such as individual development opportunities, strong team spirit, and good networking. Our BlueSkyTaskForce is working to ensure we continue to set new standards with our innovations, for example, with topics, products, materials and ideas that are deliberately far away from our core business.
I am glad that the company offers me flexibility in many different ways: through training opportunities such as the ARDEX Summer Academy, our development program for employees who demonstrate high potential. I am now head of the legal department at ARDEX, but still have time for my family, as my position is part-time. I’m able to manage family, work and sporting activities and can also work from home. This flexibility is also what makes a family business like ARDEX right for me.
I completed my training as a machine and system operator through the CareerWORKSHOP, an education and training centre. I did my work placement at ARDEX and my new colleagues immediately integrated me into the team as well as joint activities like our football team. I particularly like the fact that ARDEX offers young people a variety of training opportunities, including in collaboration with various partnerships.
